Our Story: Crafting Community, One Bottle at a Time
In the heart of Manly West, two dads - Simon and Andrew, mates, and proud parents of Manly State School kids, found themselves frustrated. Like many parents, they were tired of constantly replacing lost, broken, or forgotten kids’ drink bottles. Every school term seemed to bring a new pile of plastic bottles cluttering up the house, the school’s lost property bin, or worse, the environment. They knew there had to be a better way - one that was sustainable, personal, and meaningful to their tight-knit community.
That’s when Crafted By 2 was born. Over a couple of coffees (or beers), these dads hatched a plan to create something special: durable, stainless-steel sports bottles, beautifully engraved with the school logo, and a child’s name. These weren’t just any bottles - they were built to last, designed to spark school pride, and made to keep kids, parents, and teachers hydrated in style.
But it wasn’t just about solving the lost bottle problem. These dads wanted to make a difference for the environment and their community. By crafting reusable, high-quality bottles, they aimed to cut down on single-use plastics clogging landfills and oceans.
